Coach Mark took over the team as head coach in 2002. A local physician and father of 2 boys on the team, McLaughlin has grown the team in size and depth over the last 6 years. A New Jersey native wrestler at the Pingry School, McLaughlin held his high school’s record for most career pins (70) and was a New Jersey State Prep Champion and Honorable Mention All American. Mclaughlin was a ranked top 10 Division I wrestler at the College of William and Mary and won both the Virginia State Championship and Eastern Intercollegiate Championship his senior year. An Academic All American, McLaughlin was inducted into both Pingry and William and Mary’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
