· This Tuesday practice Dec 1st PAWS will be host guest Clinician Rob Larmore. Coach Larmore was an NCAA Division I All American, 2 time Virginia State Champ, and EIWA Champion at The College of William and Mary. He has coached 2 high school national champions at Westminster School in Atlanta. Rob is a close friend and Takedown Machine! He will be at practice on Dec 1st teaching his patented single leg series and defense from the feet. Due to the opportunity we have before us, we are going to extend practice an additional 15 minutes on this day. So plan on practice being over at 8:45PM on Dec 1st.
· On December 17th we will have our old friend Coach Nate Zinsser from the US Military Academy practicing with us and working with the boys on goal setting and mental preparation before matches. Coach Nate is a national speaker on Sports Psychology, an author of a book on Children’s Sports Psychology, and advisor to many professional athletes. Practice will also be extended to 8:45PM on that night.
· On the night of Dec 3rd there will be a videographer at practice filming Coach Mark running a PAWS wrestling practice. Small bits of this footage will be used to create a video called “A Day in the Life of a Neurosurgeon” This video is being created by my medical practice and will be used only on my practice website. Shots used will be of some teaching of moves and of running calisthenics. There will be no focus on any of the boys, only on myself in my normal daily life. I wanted to inform all parents of this beforehand. If there is any parent who does not feel comfortable with the possibility that their child may appear in the background of the video, please notify me and I will make sure they will be kept out of that particular part of practice that is being shot. If there are any specific questions please feel free to address them directly to me. Cell phone 609 468 4146.
